I can attribute my love for photography to my father's stack of National Geographics and his decision to purchase a subscription from a door to door salesman that just so happened to come with a Yoshida toy camera. My obsession with capturing the world through a lens has only grown since that eight year old girl first held that piece of rudimentary machinery in her tiny hands and dreamt about bankrupting her parents on the cost of film.
Now a mother, my eyes have been opened wider than I ever thought possible as I've had the privilege of watching the world get discovered by another human being.
A wise man once told me that while many things have been photographed, not all things have been photographed by me. Taking photos of anything and everything that crosses my gaze is and always will be the only job I've ever wanted.
